Lunch Break Video: A nervous Lucy Ricardo dances with Van Johnson in classic “I Love Lucy” scene

The Ricardos and the Mertzes spent a large chunk of the fourth season of I Love Lucy in Hollywood while Ricky tried to become a movie star.

They encountered John Wayne, William Holden, Richard Widmark, Hedda Hopper, Harpo Marx, Rock Hudson and others. But my favorite episode from their Hollywood adventures is when Lucy danced with Van Johnson. He was performing at the hotel where the gang was staying and Lucy lied to her visiting friend Carolyn Applebee that she was pals with Van.
