Lunch Break Video: A gorgeous holiday classic from The Carpenters: “Merry Christmas Darling”

Just love when this song comes on the radio.

Karen  Carpenter may have left us far too soon when she died in 1983, but she left behind so many beautiful recordings made with her brother Richard Carpenter which they made in the late 60s, all through the 70s and the early 80s.

Among them was at leat two Christmas albums which are must-haves and of all the holiday songs they recorded, Merry Chtistmas Darling is their true classic and certainly my favorite.
