Finally got around to watching this interview from the now-canceled The Rosie Show.

When Rosie O’Donnell tried to save the show by moving to a one-on-one format, Kathy Griffin was her first guest.

What followed was a remarkable two-part interview over two entire shows.

Griffin is not “on” at all during this chat and neither is Rosie. They are just two very good friends have a conversation about career, about childhood, family, self-image, famous friends and much more.

Kathy is completely open about a depression she had recently suffered, her first serious bout, after a break-up and the end of her My Life on the D-List show. Among those who were of great help was Jane Fonda who had Kathy over, made her “the worst quesadilla” and gave her loads of helpful advice.
