Liza Minnelli is 65 today!

Liza Minnelli is officially a senior citizen!

And boy, she sure makes growing older look like fun if you keep doing what you love. Liza has a new album out, made a sensational appearance in last summer’s Sex and the City 2 flick and won yet another Tony Award a few years back for her Liza’s At the Palace show.

What makes the longevity of Judy Garland’s eldest daughter all the more amazing is that she has struggled with addiction, with serious physical setbacks and health scares, and had a really ill-advised fourth marriage to David Gest.

But the Oscar winning actress and star of such films as Cabaret, Arthur, The Sterile Cuckoo, and New York, New York has survived and thrived and has seemed in recent years to be in a good place.

Like a fine wine, Liza is aging well and hopefully will be a part of an Arrested Development feature film (if that ever comes to pass as rumored) so she can reprise her role of Lucille!

No matter what, it seems a sure bet that Liza will continue to enthrall and enchant us with her live performances and talk show appearances.

There really is no one else like Liza with a Z!
