Lindsay Lohan Jail

A judge in Beverly Hills has sentenced Lindsay Lohan to 90 days in jail for a parole violation related to a 2007 drug case involving the Mean Girls star.

According to press reports, Lindsay burst into tears when her sentence was handed down by Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel. The deciding factor in the judge’s sentence was that the actress had failed to attend the alcohol education course she had been ordered to complete.

Lindsay will be required to turn herself in by July 20 and after she serves her time, she will be required to check into an in-patient rehab facility.

You knew something like this would happen to this troubled young woman whose antics are annoying and yet you really are rooting for her to find her way. Maybe this time in jail will lead her to the help she so desperately needs?

I sure hope so because I do not want to be reading her obituary anytime soon.

3 Remarks

  1. Hopefully, she’ll take this opportunity to turn her oh-so-priveleged life around

  2. I think it is appropriate for her to have this experience, particularly because it will be followed by in patient treatment. There is quite a difference between being in a situation where you can’t check yourself on a whim and what she has experienced before. She also will have the opportunity to process what she has experienced in jail when she goes in patient. I question one thing. Is the 90 days a fixed period of time or what can happen to get her out earlier. Either way I hope it does her some good. By all appearances, she certianly needs it.

  3. Wow this is good as this girl needs help, but, it will probably be in for 37.5 minutes like all the other LA celebrities get due to what does the sheriff’s department call it, “overcrowding?”
