LGBT ally Chris Kluwe cut from Oakland Raiders

So sorry to hear that Chris Kluwe has been cut from the NFL’s Oakland Raiders ahead of the upcoming season.

He’s one of the good guys and a staunch LGBT ally with a remarkable way with words.

Chris has tweeted: ‘Thanks to everyone at the Raiders for the opportunity this preseason. It was a blast.’

The classy Kluwe congratulated fellow punter Marquette King for making the team: ‘Feel like we both had a pretty strong preseason. No regrets.’

The NFL season officially starts on Thursday and Chris remains hopeful that he will get to play somewhere: ‘Thank you to everyone for the well wishes. We’ll see what the next couple of days bring. Other than more dead PoE characters.

The avid gamer was, of course, referring to the online video game Path of Exile.
