View this post on Instagram When I was little, I marched out of Sunday School and told my daddy I was never going back as the kids laughed at me. He took me aside and patiently explained the difference between laughing "at me" and laughing "with me." He told me I had been given a gift. And it was a gift from God. THE ABILITY TO MAKE PEOPLE LAUGH. He made me promise I would never "hide my light under a bushel but always let it shine." Had this precious man not given his life in service to our AMAZING COUNTRY, he would have been 86 today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DADDY. I LOVE AND THINK OF YOU DAILY.
