Elaine Stritch: Shoot Me opened in New York on Friday but we in Los Angeles have to wait until March 7 for it to open here.

I plan to see it as soon as I can because I find her fascinating.(See theater listings HERE)

The film is said to reach beyond the icon’s brassy exterior to reveal a multi-dimensional portrait of a complex woman and artist.
