The thing about Lauren Bacall was that as good of an actress as she was, she was most interesting as herself.

She always gave interesting interviews and one of them was in 1994 with Charlie Rose when she was promoting her book Now.

You can tell that she was usually the most interesting person at a cocktail party.

What a remarkable life.
