Late Night Video: – Orlando Gay Chorus performs ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ and entire audience joins in
Today marked three weeks since 49 people were shot to death inside Pulse nightclub in Orlando. I’ve thought about it every day and I know so many of you have too. There have been various tributes to those lost and one of the most special ones took place this weekend in Denver at the GALA Choruses Festival. The Orlando Gay Chorus performed You’ll Never Walk Alone at the 2500-seat Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Halfway through the song, conductor James Rode turned to the audience and motioned for them to stand and join in which they did. It made an already powerful performance all the more powerful and certainly unforgettable.
