Late Night Video: Clay Aiken visits a North Carolina diner with Raven-Symoné to discuss HB2
With the massacre that took place in Orlando on June 12, we haven’t heard very much about things like HB2, the controversial law in North Carolina that forces transgender people to use the bathroom of their birth instead of that of their gender identity. But the new law is now in effect and I’m happy to see ABC’s The View sent co-host Raven-Symoné down to a diner in the state – accompanied by Clay Aiken – to talk to folks about it. Some people – most of them – in this video just can’t wrap their heads around it.

as a native from n.c. i get what has happened to my birth state since the republicans took over..it is a tragedy..there are still good people there but they have not stood up and reclaimed their state from the bigots and religious nuts there…and until they do they will be no different from alabama and the other deep south 18th century living states.
