Late Night Video: Anderson Cooper emotional on the air while reading the names of Orlando victims
Reading the names and sharing what he know about the 49 victims of the Orlando massacre was important to Anderson Cooper and he got through it – but just barely. The CNN anchor fought back years as he read the very long list of men and women including several young couples who died together and a mother of 11 who had gone with her gay son to Pulse nightclub to dance with him. “They are more than a list of names. They are people who loved and who were loved.”

Caught this last night it made me tear up as well…Anderson has really become a wonderful role model for all.

There was an earlier part of this video in which Anderson Cooper said he would not include a picture of the shooter. I’m so grateful to Anderson for making this totally about the men and woman who lost their lives and to honor and remember them.
