Late Night Video: A Diana Ross interview like you’ve never seen after death of her ex-husband
From 1985-99, Diana Ross was married to Arne Naess, Jr. who is the father of her sons Evan Ross and Ross Arne Næss. Five years after their divorce, Naess died in a mountain climbing accident while descending from a peak in the Groot Drakenstein mountains in South Africa.
Ross traveled with her children to Norway for Naess’ funeral and gave a remarkably candid sit-down interview to Norwegian television.
I share this with you because it is unlike any interview I have ever seen with Diana in her 50-plus years of stardom. There is nothing showbizzy about it. It’s raw but dignified and very touching.
