Lance Bass, Jai Rodriguez, Mike Manning and others attend LA Gay & Lesbian Center’s Halloweenie party
Fred & Jason’s Halloweenie event at the iconic Hollywood Forever Cemetery has quickly become one of the biggest parties of the year.
I attended for the first time on Friday night (nope, not in costume – I was there to cover the arrivals carpet) and was in awe of the scope of this event which benefits the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center.
Thousands of people came – some from as far away as Europe – and enjoyed the sounds from DJs Beau Dasher and Dave Aude.
The arrivals carpet was not as busy as I had hoped with many of the names promised no-shows – at least during the designated 9-11 p.m. arrival time.
But a heavily made-up Lance Bass (pictured above and left) was there and he looked amazing.
Also on hand were, in order of the photos below, Jai Rodriguez (Queer Eye for the Straight Guy), Mike C. Manning (The Real World: DC), David Moretti (The Lair), Jack Mackenroth (Project Runway), and JP Calderon (Survivor, Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency).
I’ve also included a few photos of non-celeb partygoers whose costumes impressed me: Tin Man, Dorothy and Lion from The Wizard of Oz and some very handsome guys costumed as Glee’s Dalton Academy Warblers.
And finally, there’s me next to a grave. I’m not gonna lie, being at a cemetery at night is just a little creepy. No way around it!
