Lance Bass is “Walking on Air” with his first new single in 12 years

In the past 12 years, Lance Bass has been many things.

He tried to become an astronaut, he became an openly gay man, he penned his autobiography, he appeared on Broadway, he’s produced some indie movies, he was a contestant on Dancing With the Stars, and he’s now hosting a daily radio show.

One thing he has not done is release any new music.

That has now changed with the release of a new single called Walking on Air which is a collaboration between Lance, Anise K, Bella Blue and Snoop Dogg.

‘I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it,’ Lance wrote to fans in Instagram.

He also took to Twitter to drum up support for song: ‘We are doing this without a label, so radio requests from you is key!’

Lance said the video for the song will be released on Friday.

He tells E! Online: ‘For the last two years I’ve been listening to demos, just trying to figure out if I want to get back in the studio. I hadn’t heard anything that resonated with me. But a couple of months ago, a track from Anise K landed in my lap from a friend of mine and he was like, “I think this will be your first song.”‘
