Lance Bass doesn’t confirm or deny NSYNC reunion

Lance Bass addressed the rampant rumors on his radio show that the members of ‘NSYNC reunite at this Sunday’s MTV Music Video Awards.
He did not confirm or deny that it would happen.
‘That would be an amazing, amazing time,’ he said of a reunion.
‘Let me tell you how this all came about,’ Lance told listeners. ‘Justin Timberlake is getting the Michael Jackson [Video] Vanguard Award this Sunday at the awards, so of course people are automatically going to think we’re going to be there performing.’
He said he knew rumors ‘were going to fly’ when nearly all of the members of the former band were together in Miami last weekend for Timberlake’s show with Jay Z at Sun Life Stadium.
‘We all came down here [to Miami] except for JC [Chasez] -JC stayed in California, he had to work…Joey [Fatone], Chris [Kirkpatrick] and myself went,’ Bass said. ‘I think that’s what started the rumor that there’s going to be this big reunion with ‘NSYNC.’
The band broke up in 2002 after seven years together and Timberlake quickly went on to solo superstardom in music and acting. Lance, of course, came out as openly gay in 2006 and has stayed busy in radio, on stage and wrote his autobiography.
Even after all these years, the prospect of a possible reunion has fans beside themselves.
‘It’s amazing to see the reaction out there on Twitter and social media…how many people are supporting ‘NSYNC,’ Lance said. ‘It’s so nice to see because when we ended things [over] ten years ago, there was no social media, there was no Twitter. … ‘NSYNC was even trending.’
