Out soccer star Robbie Rogers celebrates as Los Angeles Galaxy wins MLS Cup!

So happy for Robbie Rogers and his LA Galaxy teammates who won the MLS Cup tonight. Robbie had been part of the 2008 MLS championship team Columbus Crew but back then he was not an openly gay player.

This time around, he was out and proud and accepted by his teammates and they showed that the debate over locker rooms and all the rest are ridiculous.

Robbie wrote on Facebook tonight: “This MLS Cup is for so many people my teammates, family and friends. The fans obviously and for everyone that thought it would never be possible. Thank you #LAGalaxy”
