Kelsey Grammer’s ex-wife Camille spilling secrets

Okay, true confessions time: over the New Year’s weekend, I was staying with friends in Sacramento and as it poured rain outside one day, we sat inside watching a marathon of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

This was my introduction to Camille Grammer and lemme say, she appeared to be quite a piece of work and someone who can’t help but create drama.

This morning, she made comments some on The Howard Stern Show that are really getting a lot of attention: Camille implied that her estranged husband, Kelsey Grammer, is a cross dresser.

Kelsey of course is currently on Broadway starring in a revival of the cross dressing musical La Cage aux Folles.

Things got interesting when Howard Stern asked her if Grammer was gay. She said: He likes being with women, but there’s something between us that didn’t click.”

Then she remarked that he is currently is in the “right play.”

Stern sidekick Robin Quivers then asked: What’s the reason, he likes to dress as a woman?’

Camille’s response was: ‘I’m not saying it… I’m not saying it.’

Stern then made a joke about Grammer trying on her underwear, and Camille said ‘He has a little waist. I don’t know what to say!’

When Stern and Quivers asked for more details about these alleged cross-dressing activities, she was vague saying: ‘That was a gift to me. That was a super, special surprise. … I’m not discussing this now…I’m gonna be smacked with a lawsuit! You’ve got to ask his new [fiancee].’

A spokesman for Kelsey Grammer said in a statement: ‘While it is not clear why Camille Grammer continues making public statements about her marriage to Kelsey, it is crystal clear that Kelsey will continue not responding, regardless of content.’
