Kathy Griffin, once best-known as the funny red-head on Suddenly Susan, has become a huge star in recent years because she has mastered the art of self-promotion.
She was nominated for a Grammy Award this year after recording a comedy album, For Your Consideration, specifically for that reason. I love it! And, of course, she has won two Emmys for a TV show, My Life on the D-List, that is all about her.
Kathy’s latest endeavor is Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin which will be released on Sept. 8.Kathy has started a petition drive to try and get Oprah Winfrey to make her book an official book club selection. I dunno Kathy, you’re great and all but you’re no Toni Morrison! Click HERE to add your name to the petition.
