Kathy Griffin on Sarah Palin: “I rolled out the red carpet and she walked right into my act.”

Kathy Griffin played a scary regionals judge on last night’s episode of Glee.
It’s nice to see our favorite D-Lister taking on more acting roles. She was on an episode of CBS’s The Defenders a few weeks back and last season was on Law & Order: SVU.
Her Glee character was said to be a “Sarah Palin-like conservative” and the former Alaska governor is clearly not a fan of Kathy calling her a “50-year-olf bully” and a “has-been.”
Kathy, of course, has been getting all kind of publicity out of this as she is appearing on Broadway in Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony.
She tells PopEater: “It was a dream come true. I love these celebs that still don’t get it. I rolled out the red carpet and she walked right into my act. I added two shows to my Broadway schedule because of her. I laughed when she told me to come to Alaska. Didn’t she know I have not only been to Alaska, I brought Levi Johnston and went to her house, knocked on her door and left her a note?”
So if she ever did get to meet Palin? “I would wear a bullet proof vest and underpants. She would see me as a mouse. I would tell her it’s nice to meet you, my name is Tina Fey.”
