Joy Behar has message for Caitlyn Jenner: ‘Transgenders for Cruz Is Like Jews for Hitler’

Is Caitlyn Jenner evolving when it comes to Hillary Clinton or is she worried about sagging TV ratings?
As backlash grows over Jenner’s anti-Clinton rant this week, the reality star took to social media to post a photo of herself with Clinton with the hashtags #learningfrommygirls #willingtolisten.
On ABC’s The View today, co-host Joy Behar spoke about Jenner’s support of Republicans including presidential hopefuls Donald Trump and particularly Ted Cruz who has spoken out against protections for transgender people: ‘Transgenders for Cruz is like Jews for Hitler.’
Behar made her comment in response to Jenner’s apparent backtracking after calling Hillary Clinton a ‘f—ing liar’ and ‘political hack’ on her reality series I Am Cait.
Behar’s co-host Michelle Collins is skeptical of Jenner’s motives in posting the photo with Clinton following the fallout of her anti-Clinton remarks.
‘I don’t know if she really believes, like if she really is open,’ Collins said. ‘I hope she is, but I wonder if part of it is to kind of put that fire out a little bit with the community because they are very upset. I think it’s affecting the ratings on the show and how people are viewing her and she wants to maybe — I don’t know if it’s real or not is all I’m saying.’
Ratings are indeed down for I Am Cait which began its second season last week.
If Jenner is indeed backtracking on Hillary, it appears to be too late for some former fans.
‘The only reason why you even met with her is because your show ratings have dropped to ridiculously low ratings because of your stance. You are nothing more than a fame whore. Unfortunately I rooted for you for so long only to be disappointed that you are just like the rest of your family,’ wrote Facebook follower Petey Plastic.
Another, Larry Baker Jr., wrote: ‘It’s too late. You’ve exposed yourself as a selfish close minded self centered “celebrity” your 15 minutes is up. Maybe your should’ve hired Kris to be your manager. She can warn you on when you should keep your mouth shut.’
But Caitlyn still has her share of supporters including Kevin Ryan Conlon who wrote: ‘I am actually gay and pro lgbt and a conservative as well. Caitlyn whatever you support is still your beliefs and convictions. Stay true to them.’
On The View, co-host Raven-Symone wondered if Jenner should have tried to educate herself privately first before spouting off on politics as reality show cameras roll.
‘When you go through that much of a change so quickly, especially in the public eye, I think, personally, you should have taken a hiatus or break and stepped back and really lived in the transgender world, not just go right into it,’ she said.

The voice of reason.

I genuinely believe that Caitlyn Jenner just isn’t a very intelligent person.

As I mentioned before, that’s what happens after a hype given to a person just for a personal circumstance (gender dysphoria in her case) rather than for what they stand for or what they did in their lives on moral and ethical grounds. There is such eagerness and need for LGBT’s heroes and role models that many jumped onto the boat without realizing that maybe acting upon a personal circumstance (in her case, adopting a new social gender) is not enough to invent them merits galore. IMO this will be good for the LGBT’s afterwards because we need to mature as minorities and assume the realities present on any other minorities: there is diversity within our groups. Wise people, dumb people, good or bad, etc.; no need to defend those who we may not agree with just because they happen to belong to the same of similar or (somehow) related minority group. Personally I don’t think she is bad, just dumb (because I don’t think she realizes she is supporting those who are against her) or delusional (she may really think that everyone agrees with her social gender). She may need more therapy or a better therapist to understand whom she is supporting and what would it mean for her.

Glad to hear the ratings are tanking. I know they continually went on a downward spiral last season, although I wouldn’t watch trash like this or anything to do with the Trashdashians. No offense to anyone. Personally, I’ll be thrilled when the Cait Show and all the Trashian’s shows are permanently a thing of the past. I do enjoy making fun of them though. Don’t get on my case about it…thanks!

I hope the ratings continue to fall for this and the kardashians and similar things. It’s so obvious these people simply farm the general public for money by tossing out bullshit here and there. (Then again, it’s just as much the fault of the people who follow the vapidness.)
CJ speaks without education on the things she often speaks of. That’s my issue. She spouts of ignorance non-stop. BJ did the same thing in the past. S/He came off and continues to do so as someone tremendously uneducated on many things yet speaks out anyway. I had hoped the trans community would at least teach her to not speak before thinking but that was a hope wasted.
Desperation is never attractive. Sadly, BJ and now CJ has always been a desperate, desperate soul in search of validation from outside while pushing people away with ignorance. It’s a horrible combination. A nice quiet retirement out of the spotlight would seem to be the best path forward at this point.
