Joy Behar doesn’t really get gay Republicans: ‘It’s not all about your pocketbook, guys’
I love Joy Behar – she’s opinionated, smart and she’s funny.
Whenever I tune into The View and vow to never return because I find Elisabeth Hasselbeck so damned annoying, I know I could never say goodbye to Joy.
Behar inexplicably had her nightly show canceled by HLN (I have not watched the channel since) has resurfaced on Current TV.
In an interview with The Advocate, Joy is wondering how gay Republican groups such as GOPround and Log Cabin Repulicans could endorse Mitt Romney for US President.
‘Why are they voting for someone who’s against gay marriage, gays in the military?’ she says. ‘The Republican platform wants to roll back into ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.’ I mean, that is completely retro. It’s not all about your pocketbook, guys. I guess they feel their money will protect them from homophobia. A lot of people felt that way, in like Germany, for example.’

Thank you, Joy! I agree!

(I wish I could post this exclamation in bold) WOW!
That’s a great comparison, and Joy does NOT beat around a bush!
