Jonathan Bennett’s Pride Month message: “Wherever you are on your journey, know that I see you and I support you”

Jonathan Bennett writes: Happy Pride! This is one of the first pictures I took kissing my husband. I remember being scared to take pictures like this because I wasn’t publicly out yet. So much has changed in the last 9 years of my life, and I am so grateful to be the person I am today.

Living OUT and PROUD and unapologetically myself is the most powerful decision I ever made. All the things I was feared about coming out never happened. In fact the exact opposite happened. My life flourished and all the doors opened that had been closed for so long.

So wherever you are on your journey, know that I see you and I support you. My advice, life is short, live your life the way you want, and never apologize for who you are. Because you are never too much, and you’re always enough.
