View this post on Instagram It’s so easy to compare your real life to other people’s Instagram Iives. Here’s an amazing moment I had with the man that I love in New Jersey. We watched the sunset and it was absolutely beautiful. . (Not pictured: the break down I had in my room two nights in row where I thought I’d never work again, the paddle board session where I pulled out my back and floated to shore and walked home through the marsh that was disgusting, the tire on the bike that blew out, the worst indigestion and stomach pains I’ve had the past two days, the list goes on…) .No one’s life is “instaperfect”, but this moment was. It’s so easy to go down the rabbit hole of depression comparing yourself to others. When that happens, stop, and reality check yourself. If you need help, just remember that moments after Jonathan took this beautiful photo, he ran back to the bathroom and barely made it.
