John Travolta characterizes various gay sexual allegations against him as ‘people wanting money’
John Travolta is 60 now and in recent years, there has been various lawsuits filed – most dropped – alleging that he is gay.
The allegations have had to do with the Pulp Fiction star allegedly making advances towards various guys. None of the suits went to trial. One legal filing was from a former employee who claims he had a six-year affair with the actor.
Travolta has remained tight-lipped about it all.
Until now.
‘It’s just about people wanting money. That’s all. It happens on many levels,’ Travolta tells The Daily Beast.
The two-time Oscar nominee claims he’s not losing much sleep over it.
‘I don’t care that much about it. Other people may attack it back more than I do, but I let all the media stuff go a long time ago because I can’t control it. I think that’s why it persists, to some degree.’

I suppose if he admits, finally, that he’s gay it essentially says his entire marriage has been a sham. I do believe he loves Kelly, but, yeah, he’s gay. I hope he can make peace with this some day.

He is 60 and still looks good and the stress of life isn’t doing a number on him like many people in the industry. It’s strange that John has a right to have a private life, regardless of him being a public person and figure. It’s sad that many people find this need to throw this man under-the-bus because truthfully, I have never heard him say a word negative about the LGTBI community and when he was in ‘Hairspray’ he revamped the legendary Divine’s role (R.I.P.) and did it well.
I think it’s easy for people that have nothing but $$$$ in their eyes to come for him about something that they allegedly know but I truly don’t think he intentionally went out of his way to garnish all this bad press. If he is gay and married with a woman and have children is that a crime? It is truly his business and if there are guys that want to profit on him being in the closet, that is pretty bad because all of us have something we don’t necessarily want to share with the world. Go on Craigslist in your hometown and check out some of the people on there and you will have a better understanding of the who’s who in your community. I’m a big fan of porn and I’m not proud nor ashamed of that fact but there are guys that do gay films and do them well and most, if not all of them are allegedly straight guys.
Military Classified.com (one of my favorite sites, next to Joe Schmoe )has some guys on there, that aren’t the least gay but for pay and on camera, they are gay. I’m pretty sure that girlfriends and wives don’t know about some of these guys and all they do to make some money on the side. From doctors to lawyers, to even priest most of the people you know have something to hide and because John T. is this public person, he is getting shafted left and right.
I wish people would leave this man alone because honestly, sometimes John plays a villain on the screen but in real-life, he is a talented, sweet and caring man, who is someone’s father, someone’s husband, someone’s son and brother and someone’s friend. John T. is literally Hollywood royalty if there is ever such a thing and he would be responsible for making people want to go back to theater, when he mesmerized audiences with his ‘Pulp Fiction’ character.
You know what is even more horrible to think about, John just lost his son (Jet) a few years back and everyone waiting until that moment and around that time to bring all these allegations out.
It’s easy for the media and the public to kick someone when they are down but John is a survivor and the man, who brought “Vinny” from ‘Welcome Back Kotter’ and became the dreamboat of all hunks to wear a white leisure suit and make dancing a priority in life. Now this treasured and blessed individual is now being plagued with all types of rumors and such. Leave him alone please…….

It could be just about people wanting money. Bryan Singer seems to go through the same thing with periodic lawsuits filed against him regarding his alleged sexual exploitation of underage boys.
Paul – I wouldn’t assume his marriage is a sham. There is such a thing as “open marriage”. It’s possible he might be bisexual, but whether he is or not, it’s ultimately his business.

Yikes! I so disagree about how he’s aged. He hasn’t aged well whatsoever. Sometimes it looks like he has shoe polish on his scalp.
It’s okay, John. Everyone knows you’re gay and afraid to come out of the closet….no matter what you say.
