Jim Verraros gets “Explicit” with new music!

The talented and gorgeous Jim Verraros has some new music out today!

Jim recently spoke with GLAAD about his new music, a genre-blurring blend of EDM, house, and pop, and jokes: “If George Michael, Britney Spears, and Justin Timberlake were in a musical throuple, it might sound something like this.”

Jim says Explicit is more than just an album, it’s a statement: “When I came up with the title, it wasn’t just about the content; it was a state-of-mind. A chance to speak freely, express myself creatively and sing without inhibition, limitation, or censorship.”

Jim first came to fame during the very first season of American Idol when he made the top 10 during a contest eventually won by Kelly Clarkson. Soon after, he came out as a gay man during the show’s 2002 live tour making him the first former American Idol alum to publicly acknowledge their sexuality. Clay Aiken and Adam Lambert were among those who followed.
