Jesse Tyler Ferguson “confused” by Alec Baldwin

Jesse Tyler Ferguson has weighed in on the Alec Baldwin controversy but the Modern Family star tries to be diplomatic.

The openly gay actor thinks maybe some good can come out of the “cocksucking fag”controversy which got Baldwin’s MSNBC show pulled off the air for two weeks.

‘Whether or not he said it or not, it [has] brought to attention that that’s not to be said,’ Ferguson says in a recent interview with E.W. Radio.

‘It’s not a good word,’ he added. ‘That’s a no-no word.’

Baldwin has acknowledged saying ‘cocksucking’ but has not copped to saying ‘fag’ despite the incident being captured by TMZ cameras.

Ferguson says of Baldwin: ‘I have met him several times, and he’s completely lovely, and certainly I know he’s a supporter of marriage equality, so I was kind of confused by it all.’

‘But I think he’s a very talented actor, and I feel for him going though something that seems a little rough right now,’ he added.
