Jenner reality series to be called “I Am Cait”
The summer docu-series focusing on Caitlyn Jenner’s new life as a woman will be called I Am Cait and will premiere on July 26.
E! released the first promo for the series on Wednesday, two days after Jenner revealed her female name and her Vanity Fair cover was unveiled to the world.
Jenner won the gold medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Olympics as Bruce and went on to become the patriarch on the reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Jenner’s story has overshadowed the usual storm of publicity surrounding stepdaughter Kim Kardashian and two recent episodes of the series were dedicated to family reaction to Jenner’s transition.
‘So many people go through life and they never deal with their own issues. No matter what the issues are. Ours happen to be gender identity,’ Jenner, 65, says in the new promo.
‘How many people go through life and waste their entire life because they never deal with themselves and be who they are?’
Jenner reveals that it was only recently that she had her make-up applied by a professional and marvels at the results.
Also in the promo, she is seen in a car ride with a friend and says, ‘Isn’t it great that maybe someday you’ll be normal? Just blend into society?’
The friend assures Jenner that she is normal.
Jenner then replies: ‘Put it this way: I’m the new normal.’

Any thing to make a buck for that bunch. Jenner was tired enough as a former athlete as a reality show it can just go entertain someone else and will not be on our agenda. If Bruce wants to be a woman fine put on a dress hire a makeup artist hide the damned hetero dick, he is still hetero. Sell a milion copies of Vanity Fair the public wants (sorta kinda) to be entertained for all I care the rag isn’t going to be on our doorstep. Bye the bye Greg we are queer and male, I do what I can to entertain my partner and keep him happy.
