Jay Leno: “I think people sound like Klan members when they say they’re against gay marriage”

AfterElton.com editor Michael Jensen did a terrific interview with Jay Leno about gay marriage that shows how supportive the talk show host is of LGBT equal rights. He seems to be more enlightened than previously thought and been more sensitive since he got all kinds of flak for asking actor Ryan Phillippe to give him his best gay look on his late-night show last week.
Here’s an excerpt:
“I think it’s okay to do jokes and this type of thing, but you learn where to draw the line. I think it’s ridiculous that gays aren’t allowed to serve in the military, that they’re not allowed to get married. I think it’s a human rights issue. I think people sound like Klan members when they say they’re against gay marriage. I’ve been married 29 years. How is my marriage threatened if you marry another guy? “Well, that’s it, honey. We’re over because this guy I just met…” I just don’t get it.”
You and me both Jay.

Obama, to my knowledge, is still not for gay marriage. So what does this make him?
Steven Baird says:
It’s a great to here an ” A” celebrity come say this . If more did maybe some people who are against gay marriage might rethink why they are against it!!
