Jane Lynch to host People’s Choice Awards

Jane Lynch has joined the CBS family with her upcoming sitcom Angel From Hell so it’s no big surprise that the network would pick the Glee alum to host the People’s Choice Awards.

“As a people myself, I’m thrilled to take on hosting duties of the only awards show that celebrates the choice of the people!” said Jane who is a four-time People’s Choice Award nominee and won for Favorite TV Comedy Actress in 2011.

Jane has already proven herself to be the hostess with the mostest. She has hosted the Emmys and for the past two years, has won the Emmy for hosting NBC’s Hollywood Game Night.

The show will air on January 6 from the Microsoft Theater L.A. Live.

Nominees will be announced on November 3.
