Jane Lynch talks about her divorce: “It’s two people who decided it’s just better to go apart”

I’m so glad I came across this photo I took in March 2012 of Jane Lynch with Lara Embry and Lara’s daughter at the opening of Spamalot at the Pantages Theatre.

But also a little sad because this is a family that is now broken.

Jane has just talked about the split from Lara for the first time on Larry King Now: ‘It’s two people who decided it’s just better to go apart than to stay together.’

Of biggest concern is Embry’s 10-year-old daughter, Hayden, who Lynch grew close to as her stepmother for three years.

‘She has a little girl who is very dear to me and she’s doing great,’ she says. ‘You have to remain adults which we have.’
