Jane Lynch promises Sue Sylvester will have “a hissy fit the likes of which no one has seen before” on “Glee”

http://static.technorati.com/10/08/04/15781/sue.jpgSuper Bowl Sunday is on Feb. 6 but really, who cares about the game?

I’ll be counting down to the special episode of Glee that will follow the game on Fox!

Jane Lynch (aka Sue Sylvester) tells the Associated Press that there is much to look forward to including guest appearances by Gwyneth Paltrow and Katie Couric as well as the students offering their version of Michael Jackson’s Thriller.

“It’s got so much firepower,” the Emmy-winning actress said. “There is so much going on in the show that is crazy and funny and wild.

That all sounds real good. But what sounds even better is what is going to occur with Sue Sylvester: “I have a hissy fit the likes of which no one has seen before, where I try to destroy the locker room and principal’s office. I try to shoot one of my cheerleaders from a cannon.”

2 Remarks

  1. Happy New Year, Greg. “Glee” is a fun show, and a nice showcase for Jane Lynch. So anyway, Greg, did you ever watch “The L Word,” where Jane L had a recurring role as the sleazy no-good attorney, Joyce Wischnia? (Is that the kind of show you would watch?)
It’s still hard for me to completely erase “Joyce” and replace her with the amusing ‘Sue Sylvester.’ ‘Joyce Wischnia’ was such a vile character that Ms Lynch should have refused the role: viewers just cannot get over the fact that “Jane Lynch” broke up Tina and Bette.

  2. The good thing is “The L Word” did not have nearly the same viewership as “Glee” so most people really won’t be able to erase Jane as Sue Sylvester instead of the other way around. I think she’s perfect for the show! Not too many people can pull off her role and still be likeable. Bravo! Well deserved Emmy.
