James Parsons wins third Emmy!!!

Congrats to Jim Parsons who has just won his third Emmy for best actor in a comedy series.

He beat out Alec Baldwin, among others, for the big award and said in part: “I want you to know I’m very aware about how exceedingly fortunate I am … to be able to do this role and this show.”

“It’s so silly to be emotional, isn’t it?

Parsons ended his speech by thanking longtime boyfriend Todd Spiewak who he called his ‘favorite person on the planet.’

In addition to Baldwin, Parsons also beat out Jason Bateman for Arrested Development, Matt LeBlanc for Episodes, Don Cheadle for House of Lies, and Louis C.K. for Louie.
