It’s Cher vs. Donald Trump in Twitter war!

Cher is an icon, a superstar for nearly 50 years.

Donald Trump is a knucklehead.

Everyone from Brian Williams to Barbara Walters have made digs at The Donald in recent weeks for his off-the-wall comments about President Barack Obama. Williams remarked the Trump had become irrelevant while Walters said he was making a fool out of himself.

But Cher has taken things a step further.

The icon took to Twitter to say she would no longer shop at Macys as long as Trump was featured in their advertising:

“I’ll NEVER GO TO MACY’S AGAIN ! I didnt know they sold Donald Trump’s Line! If they don’t care that they sell products from a LOUDMOUTH RACIST CRETIN,WHO’D LIE LIKE “HIS RUG” TO GET SOME CHEAP PRESS ! I CANT BELIEVE MACY’S THINKS HE’S THE RIGHT “MAN” 2 REPRESENT THEIR NAME!”

Trump, never one to pass up a feud, replied via Twitter: “I don’t wear a “rug”—it’s mine. And I promise not to talk about your massive plastic surgeries that didn’t work… It’s amazing how people can talk about me but I’m not allowed to talk about them.”

UPDATE: Cher has apologized  for her jibe about The Donald’s unfortunate hairdo: ‘2 set the record straight..I Took a Cheap Shot At Trumps Hair…I WAS WRONG!’ she tweeted.

Then she added this: ‘However….. He is a Flaming Asshole & I Hope Macy’s Dumps Him!’
