It was a “Charlie’s Angels” reunion for the ages – Kate, Jaclyn & Cheryl! – and Greg In Hollywood was there!

As you can see from my fuzzy pics, plenty of people had better seats than we did last night at the PaleyFest event last night but no one had a better time than me and Edmund Sanders!

The event reunited Charlie’s Angels cast from seasons 2 and 3 of the classic show and how amazing to see Cheryl Ladd, Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson together.

It was so exciting, it was nostalgic, it was moving. The audience members were giddy. We learned that all three are breast cancer survivors (Cheryl had not gone public with this before last night) and Kate, who has not acted in decades, said she’d like to come back to screen. The audience gave Kate a prolonged ovation I think because we have seen the least of her in the past 25 years. We appreciate her and have not forgotten her. Cheryl and Jaclyn we love always.

Great tributes and film clips of Farrah Fawcett (season 1 and guest star in seasons 3 and 4) as well as Shelly Hack (season 4) and Tanya Roberts (season 5).

Kate and Jaclyn said they were sad when Farrah left after one season but agreed that Cheryl was an excellent replacement and more than held her own.

The pre- and post-Angels careers of all three women were highlighted as well. Kate is also known for The Rookies, Dark Shadows, Scarecrow and Mrs. King and the feature film Making Love; Jaclyn starred in the TV series Christine Cromwell, in a string of TV movies including Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, Rage of Angels, and The Bourne Identity, and has had a huge separate career in women’s fashion and home furnishings; while the multi-talented Cheryl has headlined on Broadway (Annie Get Your Gun), released albums, headlined TV variety specials, sung at the Super Bowl and continued to act in TV movies and feature films (Grace Kelly, Purple Hearts, Poison Ivy) and TV series (Las Vegas, One West Waikiki).

It was an epic night to celebrate three enduring icons who are never to be forgotten!
