Is Valerie Harper set to be a celebrity contestant on the new season of “Dancing With the Stars”?

Despite the fact that she has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, TMZ is reporting that Valerie Harper is set to be a celebrity contestant on the new season of Dancing With the Stars.

At the age of 74, she would be one of the older contestants to compete but her Mary Tyler Moore Show co-star Cloris Leachman was older as was Brady Bunch icon Florence Henderson.

How wonderful and inspiring that she is feeling well enough to do this.

TMZ reports that others set to appear in the new season include Leah Remini, Snooki, Elizabeth Berkley, and Amber Riley from Glee.
