Is Miss California a bigot AND a liar?

Yeah, I’m sick of her too.

But before Carrie Prejean fades from the limelight (here’s hoping!), gotta stay on top of the latest news involving Miss California – the blonde bigot who so passionately is opposed to complete equal rights for gays and lesbians. She does not believe that , “in her country,” people of the same sex should be allowed to marry each other.

The Associated Press reports today that officials with the Miss California pageant are denying that they asked Prejean tyo apologiuze for stating her opposition to gay marriage during the Miss USA pageant nine days ag0. Carrie claimed during Sunday services at her San Diego church that producers of the state pageant told her to apologize to the gay community and to avoid mentioning religion when she appeared last week on The Today Show and other national programs.

“She chose to stand up in church and in front of the media abnd say something that was a lie,” said PR rep. Roger Neal who was one of the people advising her. “No one ever said, ‘Don;’t talk about faith or your religion. Thiose two things never came out of anybody’s mouth.”

Keith Lewis, an LA talent agent and gay activist who runs the Miss California pageant is concerned about Prejean’s ability to represent the state. He said in a statement: “Given the fact that Carrie Prejean’s first act upon returning to California was to headline five services at a church that promotes homosexuality as both unnatural and abnormal, we stabnd by our concern for her individual image and look forward to a time in the near future when she can  put down her personal agenda and resume the responsibilities as Miss America.”

That’s not gonna happen pal. No one will care about her then! She has found her calling as an anti-gay marriage beauty queen! Someone had to take over for Anita Bryant after all these years. BYW, I’m not sure what Miss California-USA  does actually. Is is different than what Miss California from the Miss America pageant? Does anybody really care?
