In honor on Cynthia Nixon’s 60th birthday, let’s enjoy some moments with SATC’s Miranda Hobbs!

Okay, when Cynthia Nixon reprised her role of Miranda Hobbes for three seasons on the Sex and the City sequel series And Just Like That to mixed reaction with some fans not thrilled with the writing for the beloved character.

Still, love, love, love Miranda who so often had been the voice of reason in this franchise which has included six seasons on HBO and two feature films.

Miss Nixon, who turns 60 today, won an Emmy for her portrayal of Miranda, another Emmy for Law & Order: SVU as well as two Tonys for her work on Broadway. She also won a 2009 Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album for An Inconvenient Truth and has had roles in many TV projects including the current hit series The Gilded Age. Other roles include TV’s Ratched as well as the TV films Warm Springs and Killing Reagan. In 2016, she played Emily Dickinson in A Quiet Passion.
