In Esquire interview, Bradley Cooper recalls his gay sex scene in first movie “Wet Hot American Summer”

With Hangover 2 smashing box office records over the Memorial Day weekend, Bradley Cooper has never been a bigger star than he is right now.

He’s no longer the supporting guy in such comedies as Failure to Launch, He’s Just Not That Into You, Yes Man and Wedding Crashers.

Now he’s a Hollywood leading man who is a full decade removed from his very first feature film, the comedy Wet Hot American Summer in which he not only played a gay man, but had a sex scene with actor Michael Ian Black in a sports shed.

As you can see in this excerpt from a new Esquire cover story, Bradley has no trouble recalling the details of that particular scene:

“I remember saying,’What if we wear tube socks, and I’ll go up on the wall, and you’ll come from behind me,'” Cooper recalls. “And I said in the scene, ‘Say my name,’ and Michael says, ‘Ben!’ And I say, ‘No! Say my Christian name,’ and he whispers, ‘Benjamin,’ and that’s when I came.”
