“I Love Lucy” Friday: Relive when Lucy visited the Tropicana nightclub as The Maharincess of Franistan
Ricky may never have wanted to let poor Lucy into his nightclub act, but she was always willing to take part in any scheme to generate publicity for this showbiz career.
In this clip, she is pretending to be royalty with Ethel as her cohort.
The best line in this entire episode is Lucy, masquerading as the The Maharincess of Franistan, answering a series of questions from a reporter this way: “Yes. No. Yes. Yes. Yes. No. And yes.”
