“I Love Lucy” Friday: Lucy dreams that Ricky is “In Love With the Dragon’s Dinner” and the dinner is her!

This is one of the most bizarro episodes of I Love Lucy ever made and I remember that as a kid, it scared the heck out of me because I was afraid Lucy was going to be eaten by a two-headed dragon.

That two-headed dragon looked just like Fred and Ethel Mertz and I’ll try and find clips for next week of their hilarious bickering over how to eat poor Lucy McGillicuddy. The dragon only eats McGilliciddys it seems.

In wanders Ricky who falls in love with doomed Lucy and sings her this song: I’m in Love With the Dragon’s Dinner.

And, of course, Lucy is dreaming all of this while the the gang is in Ireland!
