Hugh Jackman interview: “I always find sexuality one of the least interesting things about a person”

Sexiest Man Alive Hugh Jackman is on the cover of Entertainment Weekly and gives a lengthy interview in promotion of his sure-to-be blockbuster X-Men Orgins: Wolverine.

The article touches on Jackman’s “What, me worry?” attitude about his career including six years ago when he risked his budding action hero career by taking the role of gay Aussie song-and-dance man Peter Allen in The Boy From Oz: “I’ll never forget kissing a guy on stage and someone from the crowd shouting, ‘Don’t do it, Wolverine!'”

Jackman is married to Deborra-lee Funress and they have two children. And yet, gay rumors persist.

“I don’t waste waste time or energy with it,” Hugh said. “I think there’s far too much importance placed on people’s sexuality anyway. I love sex, it’s great, but it’s not the measure of love or a relationship. And whether you like girls or boys, whether you like the light on or off: who cares? I always find sexuality one of the least interesting things about a person.”
