Honey Boo Boo and her uncle on Spirit Day

The truth is, I’ve never seen a single episode of Honey Boo Boo or Toddlers & Tiaras. I try and limit my reality viewing to Real Housewives of NY and maybe Beverly Hills.

But I gotta cheer for anyone who is speaking out for LGBT kids and against bullying on today, Spirit Day, or any day.

Honey Boo Boo, whose real name is Alana Thompson I just found out, had this to say: ‘Ain’t nothing wrong with bein’ a little gay. Everybody’s a little gay!’

Her gay uncle, Lee Thompson (known as Uncle Poodle apparently) has made the video below for Spirit Day in which he recalls being bullied but encourages the youth of today to be who they are.
