Here are my 10 all-time favorite Cher hits!
Had a lot of fun going through Cher’s discography and coming up with this top 10 list. These are the songs that for various reasons resonated with me at certain times of my life. I remember, for example, buying the 45 of Take Me Home as a kid and playing it over and over and over on the little portable record player I shared with my siblings. And I’ll never forget being in a movie theater watching Burlesque and seeing Cher sing You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me and having her just take my breath away. Which are your very favorites and why? Do tell!

I like your list, but I would add Dark Lady, Half Breed and Bang Bang. I remember her singing Dark Lady on her show and also buying the 45 single. It was one of the first records if not the first, that I bought with my own money. The next one I bought was I got you babe. That must have been about 40 years ago. I’ve loved her ever since and saw her during the beginning of her Farewell Tour in Columbus Ohio. I had front row floor seats and could have shaken her hand if she had bent over the edge of the stage. This was when I realized that she was not so tall after all. Sonny just had to be very short.

I won’t repeat the great songs mentioned, but I wanted to add some lesser knows ones that I enjoy, like Geronimo’s Cadillac, and Come To Your Window. I remember being a little kid watching Cher on her two tv shows, and immediately being taken with her because of her amazing look – particularly that gorgeous hair!

Good list, but I’d drop You haven’t seen the last of me for We All Sleep Alone and add Heart of Stone somewhere.
