Wishing a happy birthday to Van Hansis! I have so much respect for the acting abilities of this five-time Emmy nominee who I loved as Luke on the late, great “As the World Turns” and more recently as Thom on “Eastsiders.” He won a Queerties award (left) just a few weeks before the lockdown this year. The first time I ever interviewed him was at a Daytime Emmys pre-party in 2008 (bottom, right) and fortunately there have been many more interviews since then. @van.hansis @eastsiderstv
