Happy birthday to the great Steffi Graf – only winner of “Golden Slam” in history of tennis

In 1988, Steffi Graf was just a teenager when she won Wimbledon, French Open US Open, Australian Open and the Olympics – all in one year. It has never been done before or since by any female or male player. In 1999, Steffi won her sixth French Open, reached the finals of Wimbledon then retired from the game. She won 22 grand slam titles with the last coming just before her 30th birthday. Such a remarkable player, classy champion, and reluctant superstar. Happy birthday to Steffi and thanks for the memories.
