Happy Birthday to Rufus Wainwright!

Happy birthday to the gifted musician Rufus Wainwright who turns 38 today.

He has just released a 19-CD boxset entitled House of Rufus which includes all of his work to date as well as a selection of bonus material. Last year, Rufus released All Days are Nights: Songs for Lulu, his sixth album and the follow-up to 2007’s Release the Stars.

In late 2010 Rufus became engaged to his partner Jörn Weisbrodt and in February, he became a father when daughter Viva Katherine Wainwright Cohen was born.
