Happy birthday to Peter Paige!

Don’t want to let the day go by completely without wishing a happy birthday to Peter Paige, the Queer as Folk alum who has become a successful showbiz multi-hyphenate.

He is co-creator, executive producer and a writer on the new ABC Family series The Fosters which premiered this month. He also wrote, directed and starred in the feature film Say Uncle, directed and appeared in the film Leaving Barstow, and co-wrote and co-executive produced the TV series Fly Girls.

But Peter remains a busy actor doing TV guest spots (The Closer, Grey’s Anatomy and Bones) as well as scores of off-Broadway and regional theater productions.

Peter is a guy who makes things happen and he also gives back. He’s a board member of the LA Gay & Lesbian Center and who, at 44, seems to just be getting started!
