Happy Birthday to Jennifer Hudson!

Wishing a happy birthday to Jennifer Hudson who has been making a very public effort to connect to her gay fans this year.

I saw her perform at LA Pride this year and it was especially nice because I met a cute guy at the concert who was really tall and he kindly took photos of her on stage – and he even kissed me goodnight!

So Jennifer is my good luck charm.

She’s 33 today, has an Oscar and a Grammy and her career is red hot. Who needs that American Idol title anyway? Certainly not Jennifer or Adam Lambert or Chris Daughtery or Clay Aiken or Katherine McPhee.

Maybe it’s better not to win!
