Happy Birthday to Cynthia Nixon

Cynthia Nixon, the two-time Emmy winning, Tony winning and Grammy winning star, turns 43 today.

She will be stepping back into the role of Miranda Hobbes soon for the second Sex and the City movie due out next year.

Did you know that Miss Nixon made her feature film debut more than 30 years ago co-starring with Kristy McNichol and Tatum O’Neal in Little Darlings? After that, she avoided the pitfalls of many young actors by alternating between stage and screen. made theatrical history while a freshman at Barnard College in 1984, simultaneously appearing in two hit Broadway plays directed byMike Nichols: The Real Thing and Hurlyburly.
